Constantine Kitsopoulos
 has made a name for himself as a conductor whose musical experiences comfortably span the worlds of opera and symphony, for which he conducts in such venues as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and Royal Albert Hall, as well as musical theater, as he can be found leading orchestras on Broadway.  The 2017-18 season will mark his eighth as Music Director of the Festival of the Arts BOCA.

Twenty-two years have passed since Itzhak Perlman made his iconic album of klezmer music, In the Fiddler’s House. The collection of traditional klezmer songs was also filmed as a PBS special, which earned Perlman his third Emmy Award, featuring the reigning violin virtuoso performing in Poland with the world’s finest klezmer musicians. In this live performance, Perlman revisits this meaningful, personal project, featuring music director Hankus Netsky on saxophone and piano, Andy Statman on clarinet and mandolin, members of the Brave Old World and Klezmer Conservatory Band and other special guests.

The legacy of Máximo Francisco Repilado Muñoz, known professionally as Compay Segundo, continues to radiate through the musical group that he founded in 1955 and that adopted his name. Currently appearing as the Compay Segundo Group, the musicians that accompanied him in his triumphant tours are fully dedicated to preserving and enriching his contributions to the cultural heritage of Cuba, among which are the invention of a musical instrument called the armónico and the use of clarinets in traditional Cuban music..

After giving up his medical studies, he dedicated himself to his second passion, acting. Having gathered experience on the radio show The National Lampoon Radio Hour, he became a fixture among the authors and performers of the legendary TV show Saturday Night Live, for which he won an Emmy Award.

Nikolay Khozyainov
 is one of the most remarkable pianists of his generation. Still in his early twenties, his featured recitals and concerto engagements have already included sold out performances at some of the world’s foremost stages such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Wigmore Hall in London, the Louvre and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.

The SYMPHONIA, a world-class chamber orchestra, is dedicated to keeping classical music flourishing in South Florida. Founded in July 2004, The SYMPHONIA is called a “gem of an orchestra” by music critics because of the high caliber of its musicians, guest artists and programming. The SYMPHONIA performs a repertoire blending classic with contemporary works, offering compositions from diverse composers . As part of its mission of “engaging and inspiring traditional and new audiences,” the orchestra presents “Meet the Orchestra,” a program that allows children to interact with musicians at dress rehearsals and features an instrument “petting zoo.”
